Key Responsibilities of a Painter

• Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes, and smoothing surfaces.
• Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, and furniture using brushes, rollers, and spray guns.
• Mix and match paints to provide decorative and artistic effects.
• Examine surfaces to determine the amount of work necessary and execute the plan efficiently.
• Ensure a safe work environment by utilizing safety equipment and following health and safety guidelines.
• Track and report on work progress, ensuring high-quality standards and completing projects on time.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as a Professional Painter or in a similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of painting material and how to select, mix, and apply them.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Ability to work on ladders and scaffolding effectively and safely.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a diverse team.
