What You'll Do

As Restaurant Chef, you will oversee food preparation and kitchen operations at Las Ramblas while ensuring the highest standards of quality, presentation, food safety, and guest satisfaction. You will lead and motivate the culinary team, develop menus and recipes, manage inventory, and help create memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and present high-quality dishes in a timely manner.

• Supervise and support kitchen associates.

• Develop recipes and menu offerings.

• Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation.

• Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost controls.

• Ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety standards.

• Conduct daily team briefings and provide coaching and training.

• Collaborate with restaurant and resort leadership to enhance guest experiences.

What We're Looking For

• Certificate, Diploma, Associate Degree, or equivalent training in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.

• HACCP Food Safety Certification preferred.

• Minimum 3-5 years of culinary experience in a restaurant, hotel, resort, or food service environment.

• Previous supervisory or lead cook experience preferred.

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Knowledge of menu planning, food presentation, inventory management, and food safety standards.

• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• English proficiency required; Spanish, Papiamento, and Dutch are an asset.
