Responsibilities:
Oversee daily Front Office operations, ensuring associates are well-trained, friendly, and efficient in providing check-in and check-out services. Maintain team knowledge of hotel products, services, and local events. Assist with hands-on operations during peak times and manage back-office tasks. Handle guest complaints, monitor staff schedules, and ensure compliance with resort standards and safety protocols. Manage FO purchases, budget, and payroll, and maintain organized records. Lead meetings, conduct evaluations, and enforce SOPs. Train new hires, promote teamwork, and ensure a clean, professional work environment. Act as Manager on Duty when needed and ensure adherence to La Cabana's standards and values.
Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of Front Office, Guest Services, and PBX/CDS operations.
- Strong leadership abilities with effective team management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in handling complaints and emergencies with professionalism.
- Fluent in English and Spanish; additional language skills are beneficial.
- Skilled in multitasking, time management, and achieving results.
- Ability to stay calm and composed under pressure while maintaining service quality.
- Solid understanding of the hospitality industry, including experience with cash handling.
- Familiarity with hotel property management systems and related technology.
- Maintains a professional appearance with a strong commitment to hospitality standards and environmental sustainability.
Education/Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years in a Front Office Management position or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
